Apex is seeking a full-time landscape designer to join our Vancouver, Washington office. Responsibilities Assist landscape architecture team in design, drawing production and project management support. Assist landscape architecture team with complex projects from initial concept through to completion. Work effectively with multi-disciplinary project teams. Prepare effective planting designs and construction documents with minimal oversight and assistance. Develop project specific construction details with an understanding of project budget and constructability. Perform site analysis, product and plant research and sourcing. Integrate sustainable design and construction methodologies into our work. Maintain and assist in improving existing company standards, processes and systems. Contribute to proposals, presentations, and marketing efforts. Qualifications Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture or related field 2+ years of professional experience Prior experience with construction documentation, technical details and specifications, and overall project delivery coordination. Desirable Skills Knowledge of Central/Eastern Washington and Oregon planting design. Knowledge of irrigation design. Knowledge of on-site safe practices, construction methodologies, observation, and preparing field reports. Benefits Company‑subsidized medical and dental.
