We are seeking a Senior Property Accountant for an on-site role in Mesa, AZ 85209 to oversee full-cycle accounting for a diverse real estate portfolio. This position is responsible for accurate financial reporting, compliance, and analytical support to property operations.

Job Details Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for a portfolio of assets.
General Ledger Management: Perform journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations.
Accounts/CAM: Oversee property management accounts receivable/payable processes, including tenant ledger audits and annual CAM reconciliations.
Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets and quarterly re-forecasts.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and lease agreement terms.
Collaboration: Provide financial data support to property managers and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in property management or real estate accounting.
Software Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Yardi or comparable property management ERP systems.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, data analysis).
Competencies: Strong understanding of real estate accounting principles and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment.
