The organization specializes in transforming healthy oils and bioactives into stable, functional powder systems that improve nutritional delivery, stability, sensory performance, and formulation flexibility.Job DescriptionTerritory Growth & Sales StrategyDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to accelerate revenue growth in the Central U.S. territory.Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the organization's ingredient capabilities.Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline across near‑, mid‑, and long‑term horizons.Customer Engagement & Relationship BuildingUtilize a consultative sales approach to engage buyers, formulators, R&D teams, and technical stakeholders.Manage key accounts to maintain volume and expand product usage.Represent the company at tradeshows, conferences, and customer-facing industry events.Internal CollaborationWork closely with the executive team to support annual revenue goals, strategic planning, and margin management.Partner with marketing to generate leads, support trade shows, and create market-driven messaging.Coordinate with customer service, operations, engineering, and quality teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction.Sales Operations & ReportingPrepare forecasting, annual sales quotas, pipeline reports, call summaries, pricing requests, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.Maintain CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred) to manage communication and opportunity progression.Support profit goals through appropriate product mix and margin management.Cultural ExpectationsDemonstrate ownership, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, technical environment.Embody organizational values of Agility, Collaboration, and Transparency.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
