Responsibilities We are currently recruiting a part-time Discharge Summary Transcriptionist. This position has a flexible schedule and located in our HIM Medical Records Department. Medical Records Discharge Summary Transcriptionist is responsible for: Reviewing patient records Completing a summary of the hospital stay upon discharge. Qualifications Education and Experience Master’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field OR licensed nurse. Minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment or equivalent experience required. Prior experience in transcription or medical discharge summary preferred.
