We are looking for a motivated Senior Technical Consultant to join our Sales Acceleration team. This role is a remote/home office position, based in the continental United States of America.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Serve as a technical lead on automation opportunities, guiding customers and sales teams through solution development

  • Provide application-level support for Siemens automation products (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, IPC, Industrial Networks)

  • Conduct discovery meetings with customers to understand project requirements and identify the best-fit solutions

  • Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept configurations

  • Performs complex hardware and/or software design consultation in accordance with customer/project needs

  • Works closely with Account Managers and Sales Specialists to achieve sales and market growth

  • Resolves very complex technical problems to meet customers' needs. Acts as escalation point for major customer technical issues when on-site resolution is required

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in automation systems and demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as described above

  • Bachelor of Science in electrical/computer/mechanical engineering or computer science

  • Able to travel domestically up to 50%

  • Must possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IT/OT Convergence Integrating Data-Centric IT Computing Systems with Industrial Control and Monitoring OT systems

  • Expertise with Open Standards in Automation

  • Experience with Accessing Raw Data Sources and Transforming into Useful Information

  • Demonstrated Ability to Gain Insights for Customers Through Data Optimization and Management

  • Cloud Based Computing

  • Virtualization and Simulation

  • Cybersecurity

  • PC-Based Automation

  • Controllers (PLCs)

  • SCADA

  • HMI Panels

  • Industrial Networking

  • Prior experience with Siemens Automation is a plus
