Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant to oversee a diverse portfolio in the Austin and Central Texas area. This role is responsible for the full-cycle accounting of residential, multi-family, and commercial assets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with complex property accounting and high-volume data management.

Job Details Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting for a mixed portfolio, including single-family homes, townhomes, condos, and multi-family units.
Process and oversee RUBS (Ratio Utility Billing Systems) and tenant bill-backs.
Handle security deposit accounting and complex month-end/year-end close procedures.
Perform high-volume bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy across multi-entity structures.
Maintain straight-line rent schedules and ensure compliance with property management agreements.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in property accounting (multifamily or residential focus preferred).
Expert-level proficiency in Yardi or MRI.
Proven experience with RUBS, straight-line rent, and tenant bill-back processes.
Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting and high-density residential portfolios.
Ability to work in a collaborative, local team environment.
