Salary: $18.50/hr-$19.00/hr

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Picker/Packer accurately picks, packs, wraps, stacks, and moves products to fill customer orders following standard procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick and pack units to specifications in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures
• Use and operate RF scanners
• Locate and pick products according to order details
• Verify orders are complete before placing on conveyor or loading areas
• Maintain good housekeeping (remove empty boxes, organize racks, move damaged product, sweep areas)
• Pack, palletize, and shrink-wrap products prior to loading
• Properly stage orders and assist loaders to ensure accurate and efficient shipment
• Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with training new associates as needed
• Follow directions from supervisors and team leads
• Perform basic math functions as required
• Maintain safety standards and report any issues
• Stay aware of surroundings, including heavy equipment
• Perform additional duties as assigned (including sanitation and temporary reassignment)

POSITION SPECIFICS:

• Full-time position
• A Shift: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (with overtime as needed) - $18.50/hr
• B Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with overtime as needed) - $18.50/hr
• C Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (with overtime as needed) - $18.50/hr
  • C Shift candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Shift schedules may vary based on business needs; changes will be communicated with at least two weeks' notice

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• None

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-6 months of order picking experience using RF scanners
• Basic reading, writing, and speaking skills in English
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills in standardized situations
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the warehouse
• Lift and/or move up to 35 lbs regularly
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Ability to push/pull carts with cartons
• Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information
• Ability to observe details at close range
• Work environment includes noise from equipment and temperature fluctuations
