Now Hiring: Inventory Control Clerk I & Packing Clerk I

Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Pay: $19.00–$21.00/hour, depending on position

A growing manufacturing company in San Diego is seeking detail-oriented and dependable individuals to join our team in either an Inventory Control Clerk I or Packing Clerk I role. These positions support daily manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, products, and inventory are accurately processed, inspected, documented, and prepared for shipment.

Available Shifts

• Packing Clerk I: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | $19.00/hour
• Inventory Control Clerk I: Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM | $21.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Prepare, inspect, package, label, and ship products accurately.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Enter inventory transactions and other required data into inventory systems, including QAD.
• Assemble orders and ensure products meet quality and compliance standards.
• Inspect products, materials, and shipping containers for defects or discrepancies.
• Restock inventory and organize materials within designated areas.
• Complete shipping documentation, packing forms, and inventory records.
• Report inventory, material, or quality issues to supervisors.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Support production activities and cross-train in other functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Inventory, warehouse, packing, or shipping experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of quality and regulatory standards is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
