Operates all light and heavy construction equipment for road construction and drainage improvement.
Responsible for scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment.
Sprays Herbicide and insecticide chemicals
Assists with construction projects including concrete and asphalt; Patches potholes requiring intense hand work
Excavates ditches and set culverts to proper elevations
Finishes concrete work and repairs.
Performs shop duties and all duties of lower level positions as necessary.
May supervise the work of a work crew on a project basis as lead person.
Held accountable for all equipment used and uniforms issued.
Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Starting Salary Range: $20.50 - $25.63 hourly based on qualifications
