Ecolab is seeking a   Field Technician   to join our team in   White, GA .   If you are a passionate technical professional that enjoys interacting with customers and likes to work in an autonomous, hands-on environment, we invite you to apply! 

 

You will be joining a talented team that   monitors   and maintains a variety of air and water quality systems   pertaining to   the   solar panel manufacturing site.  In this   position   you will provide customers with problem solving support, generating   a high level   of customer satisfaction.  

 

How   You’ll   Make an Impact:  

  • Operate, monitor, and trouble-shoot the facility and its processes   in accordance with   established procedures  

  • Perform testing on lab samples, analyze and record results and data   in accordance with   company and regulatory requirements  

  • Perform daily   process application quality analysis   using small intricate parts  

  • Provide routine and special application service support to customers  

  • Execute required chemistry tests  

  • Log and report data  

  • Maintain product inventories  

  • Provide technical support to customers  

  • Troubleshoot and   maintain   systems as needed  

  • Use a fluke meter to check sensitivity  

  • Operate a test stand verifying air and fluid leaks  

 

Position Details:  

  • Location: White, GA 

  • Work week and Shift: Night Shift (7pm - 7am)

  • Compensation: $27-$30 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • High School   D iploma ,   GED   or equivalent  

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite  

  • Immigration Sponsorship not available for this opportunity  

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience working independently in an industrial setting  

  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude  

  • Previous   e xperience in Industrial Wastewater Treatment or Maintenance  

  • Mechanical problem-solving experience ( e.g.   plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical experience) 

  • Strong customer service skills; proven ability to   interface   positively and professionally with the customer  

  • Analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner  

  • V erbal and written communication skills  

  • Previous   experience explaining   results of data gatherings  

 

Physical   Requirements of Position :  

  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high  

  • We ar ing and using   a respirator under certain conditions  

  • Working in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures   

  • S tooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, climbing  

  • W orking indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $42,000-$63,000. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
