Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Computer Network Support Specialist to analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role supports the day-to-day operation of network infrastructure, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless connectivity across systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, test, and troubleshoot network systems, including:
  • Local Area Networks (LAN)
  • Wide Area Networks (WAN)
  • Internet and intranet systems
  • Perform routine network maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently with minimal interruption
  • Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues and implement corrective solutions
  • Provide technical support to end users and resolve connectivity issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and related software
  • Document network issues, resolutions, and maintenance procedures
  • Collaborate with network engineers and IT teams to support system upgrades and implementations
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and security standards

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in network support, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent)
  • Experience with help desk or IT support xywuqvp environments
  • Familiarity with network security practices

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Work Environment
