Kinetic Personnel Group is seeking an experienced Property Damage Claims Adjuster for an insurance company in Monrovia, CA. This role is responsible for providing high-quality customer service while managing a volume of property damage claims. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of coverage analysis, liability evaluation, and California insurance regulations, and is able to resolve claims efficiently and fairly.
Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance coverage to determine applicability and exposure
- Investigate accident facts, evaluate liability, and determine appropriate claim outcomes
- Negotiate, deny, or settle property damage claims in a timely and fair manner
- Ensure compliance with California Insurance Code regulations and claim handling standards
- Identify and investigate suspicious loss indicators and potential fraud
- Prepare claims files for subrogation as appropriate
- Determine next steps and resolution strategies when claim issues arise
- Refer matters outside of assigned authority to the Claims Supervisor or Manager
- Attend trials, mediations, or hearings as requested by management
- Maintain required insurance licenses and comply with Department of Insurance requirements
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- 1-5 years of property damage claims adjusting experience required
- Insurance-related training courses preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Essential Functions

- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in an office environment
Compensation: $55K-$75k
