Audio Engineer – Pro Tools (AI Training)

We're looking for skilled Audio Engineers to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on audio content. Your production expertise will directly shape how AI understands, generates, and refines sound — making a real impact on the future of audio technology.

This is a fully remote, asynchronous contract role ideal for audio professionals who want to apply their craft to cutting-edge AI projects on a flexible schedule.

Commitment: Minimum 15 hours/week, flexible scheduling

What You'll Do

• Produce, mix, and master high-quality audio content according to project specifications and industry standards
• Work in Pro Tools to edit, balance, and enhance multi-track recordings
• Review and refine audio for clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy
• Evaluate AI-generated audio outputs for quality, alignment, and production integrity
• Provide structured, constructive feedback to improve AI-driven audio processing tools
• Help define quality benchmarks for AI audio models used by leading research labs and enterprises

Who You Are

• Experienced in audio engineering, sound design, or music production with strong Pro Tools proficiency (required)
• Access to professional-grade audio equipment and a quiet, acoustically treated workspace (required)
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality mixes and masters efficiently and consistently
• Exceptional attention to detail in audio balance, clarity, and technical precision
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
• Curious about AI-driven audio processing, sound analysis, or machine learning applications in music and sound

Nice to Have

• Experience with audio dataset creation, annotation, or labeling
• Familiarity with AI audio model training or evaluation workflows
• Background in sound design for film, games, or broadcast media
